MaxeyElementary School

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year. I am excited to invite all of our returning and new students to a year of impactful learning.  Guided by our vision, “To ensure every student has a promising and successful future” and with the sustained support from our families and community, Maxey Elementary continues to be a high performing Title I school.

This year, we will fully implement the Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T) as well as embark on new assessments aligned with the B.E.S.T. Standards and the Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) progress monitoring for VPK through grade 5.  Through this transition, our school team will continue to foster a climate that promotes collaboration, creativity, and high expectations for all students.

With your support, we will continue to be a model school where students are known by name, accepted as they are, and encouraged to do their best. Parents are encouraged to join our School Advisory Council (SAC) and Parent Teacher Association (PTA) as a way to get involved and support school goals.  Thank you for partnering with us to ensure the success of every student.
