We envision William S. Maxey Elementary School to be a safe learning community dedicated to the development of the whole child through an accelerated reading and writing curriculum, math and science explorations, advanced technology and an emphasis on fine arts. Students are continuously challenged to reach their full potential, exhibit confidence and pride, and become lifelong learners. Success will be achieved through parental and community involvement, extra-curricular opportunities, effective teaching strategies, and ongoing staff development.
